Teil 2.

It's that time of year again! Bonfire Night :) But unfortunately due to the lack of Guy Faulks in Germany there were no official celebrations :( So rather than attempting to make our own bonfire and possibly setting parts of campus alight (which probably would have happened considering that we're students and have no sense of danger), we opted for sparklers!
99 cent for 40 sparklers....it would have been rude not to! So after playing with 80 sparklers, like the immature people we are, we spent the rest of the night in my room with a bottle of wine and a pack of tarot cards. As you do. I did miss the English celebrations though, i have to say...no fireworks for us :(

However, things are about to get very festive here in Trier. In a couple of weeks the Weihnachtsmarkt descends on the city; the ice cream parlours transform into Lebkuchen shops, the streets are littered with food stalls, trinkets and plenty of Gluehwein! (A personal favourite of mine :P). So, very soon i will stuffing my face with Flammkuchen, Stollen and, of course, Currywurst! Anyway, it's only 6 weeks until I fly home for Christmas - just numerous exams and presentations in the way :/ We're planning on taking a trip to Koblenz this weekend - hopefully it will be more successful than Luxembourg!Bis Spaeter!
