I realised that i hadn't actually updated my blog in like forever so as per, there's plenty to catch up on! Everything is nice and Christmassy here in Trier - it started on like the 26th November (rather keen are the Germans :P). The markets are stunning and compared to some of the other ones we have visited, definitely the best. We've been spending quite a lot of time at the markets, enjoying a Bratty or two as well as the Gluehwein (which i have to say is vile! But in the spirit of Christmas in Germany, i did buy one, mainly for the cute little mug it came in, but i did buy one :D). And once again, Josh and I raided the chocolate-fruit stand :)
My name is Pippa Gregory and I come from Norwich, Norfolk - England. I'm currently in my third year at University of Essex studying European Studies with German and I've still got one year to go! I'm studying here in Germany for a year (Trier) and this is just an insight into my antics here in Deutschland as well as my travels, experiences....and possibly my studies!

Teil 3.
So once again we set out on one of our little adventues around Rheinland-Pfalz and once again it was a dreary and somewhat unsuccessful day :( This time we headed out to Koblenz in search of something interesting....but as usual we ended up carrying out the obligitory tourist-like activities and then split.....very quickly!; we visited the Deutsche Eck (above) - a pretty spectacular monument in the flesh!

Teil 2.
It's that time of year again! Bonfire Night :) But unfortunately due to the lack of Guy Faulks in Germany there were no official celebrations :( So rather than attempting to make our own bonfire and possibly setting parts of campus alight (which probably would have happened considering that we're students and have no sense of danger), we opted for sparklers!

Teil 1.
This is my first post so it will be a rather long one. But I've got a lot to catch up on so here goes :)
I've been here for over a month now and an awful lost has happened. After a bit of a road trip with daddy Gregory I finally made it to Germany.
